Multimedia Lesson Video: Attitudes
This lesson introduces the concept of “attitudes,” and describes how attitudes incorporate elements of cognition, emotion, and action (i.e., “thinking, feeling, and doing”). The lesson describes how and why engineers need to understand their users’ attitudes. For example, attitudes may influence whether clients adopt or abandon a product. This information is intentionally linked to the Empathy lesson (i.e., empathy strategies can reveal attitudes).
